Purpose of Life

What is The Purpose of Life
by Khalid Yasin
Shaykh Khalid Yaseen delivered this lecture in Saudi Arabia in 1994, and later that night, 43 people accepted Islam. That should tell you how powerful the message in the lecture was.

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
All praise be to Allah and peace be upon His messenger, Muhammad peace be upon him.
The information which I wish to share with you may seen a bit extensive, but when you consider the capacity of the human brain and the capacity that it can store, I am sure that a few pages in tonight's talk will not overburden you.
I am honored to have this opportunity and I would like to begin by saying that all of you have an equal responsibility. That responsibility is to listen with an open heart and an open mind. In a world filled with prejudice and cultural conditioning, it is very hard to be able to find people to take a moment to think about life objectively and try to arrive at the truth about this world and the real purpose of our lives.
Unfortunately, when you ask most people the question: "What is the purpose of life?" (such a fundamental and important question), they will not tell you what they have concluded through observation or analytical reasoning. Rather, in most cases, they will simply tell you what someone else said, or they will tell you what is "commonly presumed" by others, i.e., What my father said purpose of life is, what the minister of my church said the purpose of life is, what my teacher in school said, what my friend said, etc. If I ask anyone about the purpose of eating or why do we eat, everyone will say [in one word or another] that it is for nutritional purposes, because nutrition sustains life. If I ask anyone why they work, they will say because it's a necessity in order to support themselves and to provide for the needs of their families. If I ask anyone why they sleep, why they wash, why they dress, etc., they will answer with appropriate answers, for these are common necessities for all human beings. We can follow this line of questioning with a hundred questions and receive the same or similar answers from anyone in any language from any place in the world. Then I ask you the question: Why, when we ask the question, "What is the goal and purpose of life?" that we get many different answers? It is because people are confused; they don't really know. They are stumbling in the dark, and rather than say, "I don't know"; they just offer any answer they have been programmed to give. Think about it. Is our purpose in this world simply to eat, sleep, dress, work, acquire some material things and enjoy ourselves? Is this our purpose? Why are we born? What is the object of our existence? What is the wisdom behind the creation of man and this tremendous universe? Think about those questions. Some people argue that there is no proof of any diving origin; no proof that there is a god and there is no proof that this universe has come about through any divine purpose. There are people who argue this way, and they say that perhaps this world came about by chance. A big bang, and this great world [with all its orchestration] just came together. They argue that life doesn't have any definite purpose, and that there is nothing that can prove [either through logic or science] that there is a god, or a purpose or any divine reason behind this world.
Here I would like to mention a few verses from the Holy Quran that address this subject. We seek the protection of Allah from every evil thing. Allah mentions to us in the Holy Quran, "And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent. Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding-Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire." Surah 3: Ayahs 189-191
Now here in these verses, Allah draws our attention to the creation of the heavens and earth, the alternation of the night and the day, the creation of the universe. HE calls our attention to their creation and their precision, and mentions those who contemplate the wonders of creation and realize that this was not created for any foolish purpose, [that Allah is exalted above doing such a thing] and they seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of Hell. Truly, when you see the design of all that Allah created, you realize it is very powerful and very precise. Something very powerful and very precise; something beyond your own calculation and imagination, cannot be foolish. It cannot be just "thrown together".
There are many examples of things that happen by chance. Let me offer one situation. If you took ten colored marbles, then numbered them one to ten and you put them inside a bag. Next, you shook that bag to mix them up. Then, closing your eyes and reaching into the bag, you tried to pull out the marbles in order-1 to 10. What is the chance of pulling out the marbles in order? Do you know what the chances are? It is twenty six million to one (26,000,000 to 1). And this is something within our ability to do. So now I ask you, what is the chance that the heavens and the earth just came together as they are [with the exact precision and orchestration in their existence]?
My dear respected brothers and sisters, we have to ask ourselves a further question. When you see a bridge, a building or an automobile, you automatically consider the person or company that constructed it. When you see a large ship, an airplane, a rocket, a satellite; you also think about how incredible it is. [You know by its design who the maker is.] When you see a super international airport, nuclear plant or an orbiting space station you have to be thoroughly impressed with the engineering dynamics that are involved. Yet, these are just things that are manufactured by human beings. So what about the human body with its massive and intricate control systems? Think about it. Think about the brain: how it thinks, functions, analyzes, retrieves and stores information, as well as distinguishes and categorizes information in a millionth of a second, all of this constantly. Think about the brain for a moment. (And don't forget the fact that you are using your brain to consider itself!) This is the brain that made the automobile, the rocket ships, the boats, and so on. Think about the brain and who made that! Think about the heart. Think about how it pumps continuously for sixty or seventy years [taking in and discharging blood throughout the body] maintaining steady precision throughout the life of the person. Think about the kidneys and the liver and the various functions they perform. The purifying instruments of the body that perform hundreds of chemical analyses simultaneously and also controls the level of toxicity in the content of the body. All of these are done automatically. Think about your eyes, the human cameras, that adjust, focus, interpret, evaluate, discern color automatically, naturally receiving and adjusting to light and distance. Think about it-Who created them? Who has mastered their design and function? Who plans and regulates their function? Human beings do this? No, of course not. What about this universe? Think about this. This earth is one planet in our solar system, and our solar system is one [of possible many] solar systems. Our galaxy, The Milky Way, is one of the galaxies. There are ONE HUNDRED MILLION GALAXIES in the universe. They are all in order and they are all precise. They are not colliding with each other. They are not conflicting with on another. They are swimming along in an orbit that has been set for them. Did human beings set that into motion and are human beings maintaining that precision? No, of course not. Think about the oceans, the fish, the insects, the birds, the plants, bacteria, and chemical elements that have not yet been discovered and cannot be detected even with the most sophisticated instruments. Yet each of them has a law that they follow. Did all of this synchronization, balance, harmony, variation, design, maintenance, operation and infinite numeration happen all by chance? Do these things function perfectly and perpetually also by chance? No, of course not. That would be totally illogical and foolish. In the least, it indicates that however it came to exist-it exists beyond the realm of human capability. We will all agree to that. The Being, The Almighty Power, God, The Creator who has the knowledge to design and proportion crated all of this and is responsible for maintaining it. HE is the only one that deserves praise and gratitude.
If I were to give each one of you one hundred dollars for no reason, you would at least say thank you. What about your eyes, your kidneys, your brain, your children, and your life: Who gave you all of that? Is He not worthy of praise and thanks? Is He not worthy of your worship and recognition?
My brothers and sisters, in a nutshell, this is the goal and purpose of this life. Allah said to us in the Holy Quran: "And I did not create the jinn* and mankind except to worship Me." [Surah 51: Ayah 56] this is what the Almighty said. Our purpose in this life is to recognize The Creator, to be grateful to Him, to worship Him, to surrender ourselves to Him and to obey the laws that He has determined for us. It means worship is our purpose in life. Whatever we do in the course of that worship, [i.e., the eating, the sleeping, the dressing, the working, the enjoying,] between birth and death is consequential and subject to His orders. But the main reason for our creation is worship. I don't think anyone who is analytical or scientific will have much of an argument with that purpose. They may have some other reason with themselves-but that is something they have to deal with between themselves and Almighty God.

How Professor Arthur Alison became a Muslim

Some newspapers related the account of how Professor Arthur Alison, Head of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of the University of London, accepted Islam. He participated in the First Islamic International Conference on Medical Inimitability in the Quran, which was held in Cairo. As one of the speakers of the conference, he presented a paper on spiritual and psychological methods of therapy in light of the Noble Quran. He presented another paper on sleep and death in the light of the Noble Verse:
"It is Allah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed." (Quran 39:42)
After presenting his lectures, Professor Alison attended lectures presented by other speakers, which mainly dealt with the many miracles of the Noble Quran, he was impressed with the religion of Islam – which he found to be a religion of knowledge and enlightenment. He began to ask the other attendees many questions about Islam, and he became more and more certain that Islam is the religion of truth and is the final religion revealed to mankind. It didn't take long before he openly announced on television that Islam is the true religion and the religion that is innately accepted by the hearts of men.
Professor Alison took a shower (which one takes before entering the fold of Islam) and then pronounced the testimony of Faith, speaking in the clear and lucid tones of the believer: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."
The Professor said, " If the scholars of the West understood Islam, they would have entered into the fold of Islam as I did. I found that the disparity between Islam and other religions or creeds that I had hitherto studied was great indeed: Islam never contradicts knowledge and the sound mind, so I believe with certainty that it is the religion that is revealed from Allah, the One.

SCIENTISTS CONFIRM THE SIGNS OF ALLAH

SCIENTISTS CONFIRM THE SIGNS OF ALLAH

Science leads us to the conclusion that the universe has a Creator and this Creator is perfect in might, wisdom and knowledge. It is religion that shows us the way in knowing Allah. It is therefore possible to say that science is a method we use to better see and investigate the realities addressed by religion. Nevertheless, today, some of the scientists who step forth in the name of science take an entirely different stand. In their view, scientific discoveries do not imply the creation of Allah. They have, on the contrary, projected an atheistic understanding of science by saying that it is not possible to reach Allah through scientific data: they claim that science and religion are two clashing notions.
As a matter of fact, this atheistic understanding of science is quite recent. Until a few centuries ago, science and religion were never thought to clash with each other, and science was accepted as a method of proving the existence of Allah. The so-called atheistic understanding of science flourished only after the materialist and positivist philosophies swept through the world of science in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Particularly after Charles Darwin postulated the theory of evolution in 1859, circles holding a materialistic world view started to ideologically defend this theory, which they looked upon as an alternative to religion. The theory of evolution argued that the universe was not created by a creator but came into being by chance. As a result, it was asserted that religion was in conflict with science. The British researchers Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln said on this issue that a century and a half before Darwin, science was not yet divorced from religion and was actually a part of it, its ultimate purpose being to serve it. By Darwin's day, however, science had become detached from religion and defined itself as an absolute rival and alternative to it. These three researchers finally conclude that humanity was from then on forced to make a choice between the two.
As we stated before, the so-called split between science and religion was totally ideological. Some scientists, who earnestly believed in materialism, conditioned themselves to prove that the universe had no creator and they devised various theories in this context. The theory of evolution was the most famous and the most important of them. In the field of astronomy as well certain theories were developed such as the "steady-state theory" or the "chaos theory". However, all of these theories that denied creation were demolished by science itself.
Today, scientists who still keep to these theories and insist on denying all things religious, are dogmatic and bigoted people, who have conditioned themselves not to believe in Allah. The famous English zoologist and evolutionist D.M.S Watson confesses to this dogmatism as he explains why he and his colleagues accept the theory of evolution:
"If so, it will present a parallel to the theory or evolution itself, a theory universally accepted, not because it can be proved by logically coherent evidence to be true, but because the only alternative, special, is clearly incredible."
What Watson means by "special creation" is Allah's creation. As acknowledged, this scientist finds this "unacceptable". But why? Is it because science says so? Actually it does not. On the contrary, science proves the truth of creation. The only reason why Watson looks upon this fact as unacceptable is because he has conditioned himself to deny the existence of Allah. All other evolutionists take the same stand.
Evolutionists rely not on science but on materialist philosophy and they distort science to make it agree with this philosophy. A geneticist and an outspoken evolutionist from Harvard University, Richard Lewontin, confesses to this truth:
"It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is absolute, so we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door."
On the other hand, today, just as in history, there are, as opposed to this dogmatic materialist group, scientists who confirm Allah's existence, and regard science as a way of knowing Him. Some trends developing in the USA such as "Creationism" or "Intelligent Design" prove by scientific evidence that all living things were created by Allah.
This shows us that science and religion are not conflicting sources of information, but that, on the contrary, science is a method that verifies the absolute truths provided by religion. The clash between religion and science can only hold true for certain religions that incorporate some superstitious elements as well as divine sources. However, this is certainly out of the question for Islam, which relies only on the pure revelation of Allah. Moreover, Islam particularly advocates scientific enquiry, and announces that probing the universe is a method to explore the creation of Allah. The following verse of the Qur'an addresses this issue; " Do they not look at the sky above them? How We have built it and adorned it, and there are no rifts therein? And the earth – We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of beauteous kinds (in pairs). And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops. And tall palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another." (Surah Qaf, 6-7, 9-10)
As the above verses imply, the Qur'an always urges people to think, to reason and to explore everything in the world in which they live. This is because science supports religion, saves the individual from ignorance, and causes him to think more consciously; it opens wide one's world of thought and helps one grasp the signs of Allah self-evident in the universe. Prominent German physicist Max Planck said that "everyone who, regardless of his field, studies science seriously is to read the following phrase on the door of the temple of science: 'Have faith'". According to him, faith is an essential attribute of a science.
The existence of the universe and all living things cannot be explained by coincidences. Many scientists who have left their mark on the world of science have confirmed, and still confirm this great reality. The more people learn about the universe, the higher does their admiration for its flawless order become. Every newly-discovered detail supports creation in an unquestionable way.
The great majority of modern physicists accept the fact of creation as we set foot in the 21st century. David Darling also maintains that neither time, nor space, nor matter, nor energy, nor even a tiny spot or a cavity existed at the beginning. A slight quick movement and a modest quiver and fluctuation occurred. Darling ends by saying that when the cover of this cosmic box was opened, the tendrils of the miracle of creation appeared from beneath it.
Besides, it is already known that almost all the founders of diverse scientific branches believed in Allah and His divine books. The greatest physicists in history, Newton, Faraday, Kelvin and Maxwell are a few examples of such scientists.
In the time of Isaac Newton, the great physicist, scientists believed that the movements of the heavenly bodies and planets could be explained by different laws. Nevertheless, Newton believed that the creator of earth and space was the same, and therefore they had to be explained by the same laws. He expanded on this view in his book stating that the perfect system of the sun and planets could only survive under the control and dominance of a mighty and wise being.
As is evident, thousands of scientists who have been doing research in the fields of physics, mathematics, and astronomy since the Middle Ages all agree on the idea that the universe is created by a single Creator and always focus on the same point. The founder of physical astronomy, Johannes Kepler, stated his strong belief in God in one of his books in which he declared that we, as poor, inadequate servants of God, have to see the greatness of God's wisdom and might and submit ourselves to Him.
The great Physicist, William Thompson (Lord Kelvin), who founded thermodynamics, was also a Christian who believed in God. He had strongly opposed Darwin's theory of evolution and totally rejected it. He explained shortly before his death that when it looks at the origins of life, science certainly confirms the existence of that Great Power.
One of the professors of physics at Oxford University, Robert Mattheus states the same fact in his book published in 1992 where he explains that DNA molecules were created by God. Mattheus says that all these stages proceed in a perfect harmony from a single cell to a living baby, then to a little child, and finally to an adolescent. All these events can be explained only by a miracle, just as in all the other stages of biology. Mattheus asks how such a perfect and complex organism can emerge from such a simple and tiny cell and how a glorious HUMAN is created from a cell even smaller than the dot on the letter i. He finally concludes that this is nothing short of a miracle.
Some other scientists who admit that the universe is created by a Creator and who are known by their cited attributes are:
Robert Boyle (the father of modern chemistry)
Iona William Petty (known for his studies on statistics and modern economy)
Michael Faraday (one of the greatest physicists of all times)
Gregory Mendel (the father of genetics; he invalidated Darwinism with his discoveries in the science of genetics)
Louis Pasteur (the greatest name in bacteriology; he declared war on Darwinism)
John Dalton (the father of atomic theory)
Blaise Pascal (one of the most important mathematicians)
John Ray (the most important name in British natural history)
Nicolaus Steno (a famous stratiographer who investigated earth layers)
Carolus Linnaeus (the father of biological classification)
Georges Cuvier (the founder of comparative anatomy)
Matthew Maury (the founder of oceanography)
Thomas Anderson (one the pioneers in the field of organic chemistry)

Cure for sickness of April Fool

Cure for sickness of April Fool

Allah says in the Noble Quran about the basic qualities of a believer:
" O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do? Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do." (Quran 61:2,3)

Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked, "Can a believer be a miser?" He said, "Yes" He was asked, "Can a believer be a coward?" He said, "Yes." And he was asked, "And can a believer be a liar?" He said, "No."

It has been related that a man went to Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and said, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed I do three sins in secret: (I drink) alcohol, fornication and lying. So inform me which of them I should abandon. "He said, "Leave off lying." The man went away, and later desired to fornicate, but he thought to himself, "I will go to the Messenger of Allah and he will ask me whether I fornicated? If I say yes, he will punish me. And if I say no, I will have broken the covenant and lied." So he abstained from fornicating, and the same occurred regarding alcohol. He returned to Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed I have abandoned all of them."

My brother, do you not see then, that lying is the root of every wicked deed, and it leads to all other sins. You will not see anyone more miserable and wretched than the liar, and disbelief is the most severe kind of lying, for it is lying upon Allah.

Interestingly….
Animals have long tongues, yet they cannot speak.
Man has a relatively short tongue, yet he cannot keep silent.

Not controlling the tongue may lead one to his own destruction.

Guard your tongue, O man!
Don't let it nip you, for it is a serpent!
How many victims of their tongues rest in their graves,
Whom even the bravest of men would dread to meet!

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a person continues to tell the truth until he is written with Allah as a truthful one. Verily, lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. And a person continues to lie until, with Allah( i.e., according to His Complete knowledge), he is written as a liar.

The Prophet(peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever guarantees for me what is between his jawbones and what is between his legs (i.e., that he uses his tongue and his private parts for what is lawful only), then I guarantee Paradise for him."

Although some words might be the cause of misery and punishment, other words are the cause of superiority and success.

Mu'aadh(may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Prophet of Allah, and will we be held accountable for what we say?" The messenger of Allah(peace and blessings be upon him) said, " And will people be overturned on their faces or upon their nostrils in the Hellfire except because of the harvest of their tongues."

Allah says:" O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah, and be with those who are true (in words and deeds)" (Quran 9:119).

What is the meaning of the phrase ' Laa Ilaaha Ill-Allah'?

1-What is the meaning of the phrase ' Laa Ilaaha Ill-Allah'?

This statement means to negate that any being other than Allah has the right to be worshipped, and to affirm that it is Allah Alone who deserves worship.

2- How many levels are there in the religion of Islam?

There are three levels in the religion of Islam. Islam, Iman and Ihsan.

3- What is 'Islam'?

'Islam' is: Submission to Allah, by believing Tawheed, Compliance to his orders, by obeying Him, Avoiding and absolving oneself from all form of polytheism and idolatry, as well as those who commit them.
The pillars of Islam are five, as mentioned in the narration of Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) : "Islam is built of five [pillars]: To testify that none is rightfully worshipped but Allah and that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah, to establish prayers (salah), to offer the obligatory charity(zakaah),to perform Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) and to fast the month of Ramadan.

4- What is 'Iman'?

'Iman' is: Belief and conviction in the heart, speech of the tongue. Action of the limbs.
Iman increases by performing good deeds and decreases by committing sins. What supports this fact is the enthusiasm which a Muslim feels in seasons of good deeds [ such as Ramadan and Hajj ] and the slackening a Muslim feels upon committing sins.
Iman has six pillars, as mentioned in hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) : Iman is to believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Day of Judgment, and Qadar (divine Measure) and what it brings of good or evil.

5- What is Ihsan?

The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said: "It is to worship Allah as though you are seeing Him, and if you cannot see Him, then know for sure that He sees you".
Ihsan is the highest of three levels of religion.

How many types of Tawheed are there?

There are three types of Tawheed:

1- Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah: This type is to affirm that Allah is One and Unique in His actions, such as creation, provision, giving life and death, and others. The disbelievers during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) affirmed this aspect of Tawheed even before he was commissioned as a prophet.

2- Tawheed al-Uloohiyyah: This type is to single out Allah in all forms of worship, such as prayer, making vows, charity, and others. It was for the establishment of this Tawheed that Allah sent prophets and revealed books.

3- Tawheed al-Asmaa-was-Sifaat: This type is to affirm what Allah and His Prophet mentioned about Allah's Beautiful names and Exalted Attributes, without distorting their meanings or rendering them void of meaning, and without delving into the "how" of these Names and Attributes or likening Him to any of His creation.

COELACANTH, the speculations that evolutionists engage in.

Evolutionists claimed that it was the transitional form representing the transition from water to land. Living examples of this fish have been caught many times since 1938, providing a good example of the extent of the speculations that evolutionists engage in.

What Is the Status of Women in Islam?

Islam sees a woman, whether single or married, as an individual in her own and dispose of her property and earnings without any guardianship over her (whether that be her father, husband, or anyone else). She has the right to buy and sell, give gifts and charity, and may spend her money as she pleases. A marriage dowry is given by the groom to the bride for her own personal use, and she keeps her own family name rather than taking her husband's.
Islam encourages the husband to treat his wife well, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) said: { The best among you are those who are best to their wives.}
Mothers in Islam are highly honored. Islam recommends treating them in the best way.

Virtue of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah or Monotheism in Islam).

From the second chapter of Shaykh 'Abd ar-Rahman as-Sa'di's sharh of 'Kitab at-Tawhid':
"...There is nothing that has a better effect and more virtues than Tawhid, as all of the good in this world and the next sprout from this Tawhid and its virtues.
1 - The forgiveness and expiation of sins are from its virtues and effects.
2 - It is the greatest means by which the pressures, hardships, and punishments of this life and the next are repelled.

3 - It prevents one from remaining eternally in the fires of Hell, even if there was only a mustard seed’s worth of it in the heart. If it is complete in the heart, it prevents one from ever entering Hell in the first place!
4 - It grants its owner complete guidance and security in this life and the next.
5 - It is the only means of attaining the Pleasure and reward of Allah, and he who will be happiest in regards to the intercession of the Prophet is he who said ‘there is none worthy of worship except Allah’ sincerely from his heart.
6 - And from the greatest of its virtues is that the acceptance, richness, and reward of all actions and words – outer and inner – depend on Tawhid. So, as strong as Tawhid and sincerity to Allah are, the stronger these will become.
7 - It causes good actions and works to be much easier for the servant, just as it makes it easier for him to abandon bad and evil actions. It also keeps him preoccupied when a crisis occurs. So, acts of obedience are very light for the one who is sincere to Allah in his faith and Tawhid, due to what he hopes for of the reward and Pleasure of his Lord. Likewise, it is very easy for him to leave off the sins that his soul desires, due to his fear of Allah’s Anger and punishment.
8 - If it becomes complete in the heart, Allah causes its owner to love faith, and will beautify it in his heart. Likewise, he will make him hate disbelief, sin, and disobedience, will make him of those who are rightly guided.
9 - It makes unpleasant things easy for the servant, and will ease his pains. So, as much as the servant has complete Tawhid and faith, his heart will absorb unpleasant and painful things with openness, tranquility, submission, and satisfaction with the Decree of Allah.
10 - And from the greatest of its virtues is that it frees the servant from enslavement and attachment to, fear of, and hope in the Creation, as well as doing anything for their sake, and this is the true essence of honor and nobility. With this, he becomes truly enslaved to his Lord, does not hope for any but Him, does not fear any but Him, and does not depend on any but Him. With this, he has achieved true success and victory.
11 - And from its virtues that cannot be claimed by any other is that, if it is complete in the heart, and is truly and fully established with complete sincerity, it can turn small actions into huge ones, and multiplies actions and words without any effort whatsoever…and this is all because of the sincerity that is in his heart. And how many of those who say it do not reach such a level, and this is because his heart does not contain the level of complete Tawhid and sincerity – or anywhere near it – that such a person has?
12 - Allah has taken it upon Himself to bestow victory, honor, nobility, means to guidance, means of attaining relaxation, rectification of affairs, and firmness in speech and action to its people in this world.
13 - Allah defends the monotheists and people of faith from the various evils of this world and the next, blesses them with a pure life of feeling secure with Him and remembrance of Him.
And the proofs for this from the Book and Sunnah are many, are well-known, and Allah Knows best."

Is there evidence for the existence of God?

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal reflected the question as follows. He said, "There is an incredibly strong fort, it has no doors, there is no way to enter. The fact is that there is not even any holes in it. From the outside, shines as the moon and the glow from the inside as gold. It is sealed on all sides and is airtight. Suddenly yesterday one of its doors broken, a living being with eyes and ears, a beautiful animal emerges screaming and walk everywhere. " Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal referring to an egg, which is sealed from all sides but Allah (subhanahu wa ta `ala) Khaliq (Creator) puts life into it and a chicken pops out.

Among the Signs of Allah.

“ And among His signs is that He sends winds heralding glad tidings, to make you taste His mercy, and so that the ships may sail by His command, and so that you may seek His munificence, and for you to give thanks.” [ Quran – Surah Al-Rum 30:46 ]

Perhaps just a smile at a poor man would raise you in rank in the sight of Allah

There was a man from amongst the Bedouins whose name was Zahir bin Haram. Whenever he came to Madinah for a need, he brought something for the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) as a gift, like cottage cheese or butter. Likewise, the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) would prepare something to give to him whenever he wanted to leave, such as dates and so on. The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) used to love him and say: " Zahir is our Bedouin and we are his city-dwellers" Zahir was not very good looking. One day, Zahir- may Allah be pleased with him- left the desert and came to Allah's Messenger (peace and blessing be upon him) but did not find him. He had some merchandise to sell so he went on to the marketplace.
When the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) found out about his arrival, he went to the marketplace looking for him. When he arrived, he saw him selling his merchandise with sweat pouring down from his face, and he wore Bedouin clothes which did not smell good either. The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) hugged him tightly from behind, while Zahir was unaware and could not see who it was.
Zahir became scared and said: " Let me! Who is this? " But the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) remained silent. Zahir tried to release himself from his grip and started to look right and left. When he saw the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) he relaxed and calmed down, placing his back against the Prophet's chest. The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) began to joke with him, saying to the public: " Who will buy this slave?! Who will buy this slave?! "
Thereupon, Zahir looked at himself and thought of his extreme poverty, for he had neither wealth nor good looks.
He said: " You will find me unmarketable, O messenger of Allah."The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said: "but you are not unmarketable with Allah.

Perhaps just a smile at a poor man would raise you in rank in the sight of Allah
