A mission to abolish Islam in Maldives

It has come to our notice that plans are afoot for making a major change in the national curriculum by making the two subjects, Islam and Dhivehi optional . A high ranking delegation of Adhaalath party met the Minister of Education to make clarification on the issue and it was confirmed that the Ministry is seriously planning to do it. Responding to the objections of the Adhaalath officials, the Minister said that he was serious on the issue and will not stop it and if objections are raised he will take the matter to the cabinet or the parliament to decide. Adhaalath delegation made it clear that the issue is directly related to the masses and cannot be decided by a few people in the cabinet or the parliament. Our secularists surely have something amiss somewhere in their brain. Everywhere across the world, ppl of different cultures love to associate their religious and social beliefs to their community, government and anywhere where they have a say.

see!
When the Indians elected BJP they even changed the name of a city to reflect the cultural name of the city.

The burmese changed their countrys name from burma to muyanma also citing love of culture.

The British are always adamant that immigrants to their country will have to assimilate to their culture meaning they have to become "British" at heart, which goes along with their britishness and of course Christian values. they make no secret of that.

Now why shall we despise our culture, religion and language? what's wrong with that?
