"Anti-Gay" promotion - SONEE HARDWARE
Due to violation of Mr Moosa Kaleem’s rights, violent, extremist, inequitable and immature crimes committed by the illegal group called “rehendhi” and Enough is enough” in efforts to violate Mr Kaleem’s freedom of sponsoring and conducting events within the boundary of the constitution of Maldives SONEE HARDWARE has marketed first of its kind in the world “anti-gay” underwear which will protect people from being harmed by this unethical anti social animals and also keep them safe and would be a “medication” enough to cure them from this …. Hopefully“If a man sleeps with another man like he sleeps with a woman, both men have done something extremely bad. It is a must for them to be killed, and their blood shall be on their own heads.” ( Leviticus 20:13 )
Conservative Christians generally interpret the passage as condemning all male homosexual activity. Some would extend it to lesbians as well.
Liberal Christians
J. Nelson: "It is grounded in the old Jewish understanding that women are less worthy than men. For a man to have sex with another man 'as with a woman' insults the other man, because women are to be treated as property."

Is it recommended to remain in the mosque from the time of the Fajr prayer until after sunrise?
Is it recommended to remain in the mosque from the time of the Fajr prayer until after sunrise? If it is, what are the virtues of doing so? It is indeed a virtuous act to remain in the mosque after performing the Fajr prayer – engaging in the remembrance of Allah or in reading the Qur’ân – until the time of sunrise. The following has been narrated to that effect: Jâbir b. Samurah relates that after Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) offered the Fajr prayer, he used to remain seated in his place mosque a cross-legged position until the Sun had fully risen. [Sahîh Muslim]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever offers the Morning prayer in congregation and remains seated, engaging in the remembrance of Allah until the Sun has risen, and then offers two units of prayer – he will have a reward equal to that of performing Hajj and `Umrah.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhî. Al-Albânî declares it to be an authentic hadîth in Sahîh al-Jâmi` (6346)]
Anas b. Mâlik relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “That I sit with people remembering Allah from the time of the Morning prayer up until sunrise is dearer to me than emancipating four of Ishmael’s progeny.” [Sunan Abî Dâwûd. Al-Albânî declares it to be a good (hasan) hadîth]
Mu`âdh relates that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever remains in his place after offering the Morning prayer until offering in the late morning two units of the Duhâ prayer, and does so without saying aught but a good word, his sins will be forgiven even if they are more plentiful than the foam of the sea.” [Musnad Ahmad. Ibn Hajar al-`Asqalânî regarded it as a good (hasan) hadîth] And Allah knows best. Islamtoday.com

A mission to abolish Islam in Maldives
It has come to our notice that plans are afoot for making a major change in the national curriculum by making the two subjects, Islam and Dhivehi optional . A high ranking delegation of Adhaalath party met the Minister of Education to make clarification on the issue and it was confirmed that the Ministry is seriously planning to do it. Responding to the objections of the Adhaalath officials, the Minister said that he was serious on the issue and will not stop it and if objections are raised he will take the matter to the cabinet or the parliament to decide. Adhaalath delegation made it clear that the issue is directly related to the masses and cannot be decided by a few people in the cabinet or the parliament. If anyone, be it the cabinet or the parliament, decided to implement this, Adhaalath will take the issue to the masses.Read moreTuesday, May 11, 2010

Musjidul-Aqsaa (Jerusalem), the environs of which We had blessed....."
Almighty Allah says in the Quran:
"Glory be to That Being Who transported his servant (Muhammad) by night from the Musjidul-Haraam (Makka) to the Musjidul-Aqsaa (Jerusalem), the environs of which We had blessed....."
(Surah Bani Israel, verse 1)
Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:
"Do not tie your luggage (i.e. do not travel) except to three mosques: the Musjidul-Haraam, this mosque of mine (in Madinah), and Musjidul-Aqsaa."

You are the most beloved...

While departing from Makkah, Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) halted on a plateau, faced the Qibla and said: "By Allah! You are the most beloved portion of Allah's earth to me, and verily you are the most beloved portion of the earth to Allah too. Verily you are the best, spot on the face of the earth. And the most beloved to Allah. If your people did not expel me, I would not have departed from you." (Al-Muatta)
Rasullullah(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) stated in a Hadith- "The best and the most beloved city on the face of this earth to Allah is Makkah." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

Hejaz Railway in Madina
The Hejaz Railway was a narrow gauge railway (1,050 mm (3 ft 5+1⁄3 in) track gauge) that ran from Damascus to Medina, through the Hejaz region of Arabia, with a branch line to Haifa, on the Mediterranean Sea. It was a part of the Ottoman railway network and was built in order to extend the previously existing line between Istanbul and Damascus (which began from the Haydarpaşa Terminal) all the way to the holy city of Mecca (eventually being able to reach only Medina due to the interruption of the construction works caused by the outbreak of World War I).The railway was started in 1900 at the behest of the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II and was built largely by the Turks, with German advice and support. The railway reached Medina on September 1, 1908. Read More

Modern versions of islam and the maldives

Descartes evolved the theory of doubt. He doubted everything, even his own self, yet when he thought of it he could have no doubt of its existence. And since there is no doubt without a doubter he made the famous statement "I think, therefore I exist". Of course he existed, but who brought him into that existence? It goes without saying that material objects are inanimate and devoid of the power of reasoning. But can an irrational being create a rational being? How could a person who does not possess something give it to others? READ MORE

The father of physics Ibn al-Haytham - ( The Secret Scientists-BBC )
Ibn al Haytham - Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥasan ibn al-Ḥasan ibn al-Haytham, Born in Basra Iraq in 965. Known in the West as Alhazen, Alhacen, or Alhazeni, he was the first person to test hypotheses with verifiable experiments, developing the scientific method more than 200 years before European scholars learned of it.He made significant contributions to the principles of optics, as well as to anatomy, astronomy, engineering, mathematics, medicine, ophthalmology, philosophy, physics, psychology, visual perception, and to science in general with his early application of the scientific method.
In his massive study of light and vision, Kitâb al-Manâzir (Book of Optics ), Ibn al-Haytham submitted every hypothesis to a physical test or mathematical proof. To test his hypothesis that "lights and colors do not blend in the air," for example, Ibn al-Haytham devised the world's first camera obscura, observed what happened when light rays intersected at its aperture, and recorded the results. Throughout his investigations, Ibn al-Haytham followed all the steps of the scientific method.
Richard Powers nominated Ibn al-Haytham's scientific method and scientific skepticism as the most influential idea of the second millennium.
Recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics Abdus Salam considered Ibn-al-Haytham "one of the greatest physicists of all time".
George Sarton, the father of the history of science, wrote that "Ibn Haytham's writings reveal his fine development of the experimental faculty" and considered him "not only the greatest Muslim physicist, but by all means the greatest of mediaeval times".
Robert S. Elliot considers Ibn al-Haytham to be "one of the ablest students of optics of all times".
The author Bradley Steffens considers him to be the "first scientist".
and Professor Jim Al-Khalili also considers him the "world's first true scientist".

Biruni - ( The Secret Scientists - BBC )
His full name was Abu Rayhan Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Biruni. He was born in September of 973 in Khwarezm, Khorasan and died in another city of Khorasan, Ghazna. He was a Tajik scholar and scientist and one of the most outstanding figure and learned man of his age.Biruni had excelled in many fields of the knowledge of the day particularly in astronomy, mathematics, chronology, physics, medicine, and history.
In 1030, Biruni completed the book Tarikh al-Hind (History of India). Many scholars consider this masterpiece as the most important treatise on Indian history and culture before twentieth century. The degree of objectivity and details that is displayed in this book Tarikh al-Hind is without parallel for the time and it is still of great value to the contemporary scholars.
He also completed another major book almost in the same time. It is the book called Kitab al-qanun al-Masudi fi l-hay a wa l-nujum (Canon of Masudi) and was dedicated to the Sultan Masud son of Sultan Mahmoud Ghaznavid. This book is the largest and most important of Biruni's mathematical, geographical and astronomical studies.
Biruni himself has claimed to have authored more than one hundred treatise of varying length in his life time. They include works on arithmetic, geometry, astronomy, and toward the end of his career, works on medical sciences. His collection of Indian and Chinese minerals, drugs, potions and other concoctions, still not systematically studied and may be of immense value to pharmacology.
His broad knowledge of astronomy and geography led him to the verge of modern scientific ideas. He believed that the apparent movement of celestial bodies are due to rotation of earth around its axis and also made accurate calculation of latitude and longitude. On the basis of reports of various flotsam found in the seas, He reasoned that the continent of Africa must be surrounded by water. It was a deviation from the popular Ptolemaic geography which was popular in the West and asserted the continent of Africa extended indefinitely to the south. On examining the Indus Valley, Biruni correctly guessed that once it had been a shallow sea filled in through the centuries by alluvial deposits from the river. Biruni also explained the operations of artesian springs and wells in terms of modern hydrostatic principles. He also determined with remarkable accuracy the densities of more than a dozen precious stones and metals.

Ruling on the crime of rape
The Arabic word ightisaab refers to taking something wrongfully by force. It is now used exclusively to refer to transgression against the honour of women by force (rape). This is an abhorrent crime that is forbidden in all religions and in the minds of all wise people and those who are possessed of sound human nature. All earthly systems and laws regard this action as abhorrent and impose the strictest penalties on it, except a few states which waive the punishment if the rapist marries his victim! This is indicative of a distorted mind let alone a lack of religious commitment on the part of those who challenge Allaah in making laws. We do not know of any love or compassion that could exist between the aggressor and his victim, especially since the pain of rape cannot be erased with the passage of time – as it is said. Hence many victims of rape have attempted to commit suicide and many of them have succeeded, The failure of these marriages is proven and they are accompanied by nothing but humiliation and suffering for the woman.
Islam has a clear stance which states that this repugnant action is haraam and imposes a deterrent punishment on the one who commits it.
Islam closes the door to the criminal who wants to commit this crime. Western studies have shown that most rapists are already criminals who commit their crimes under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and they take advantage of the fact that their victims are walking alone in isolated places, or staying in the house alone. These studies also show that what the criminals watch on the media and the semi-naked styles of dress in which women go out, also lead to the commission of this reprehensible crime. read more

ATHEISM JUST ANOTHER FALSE RELIGION
Millions of people before us have asked the very same questions we now ask ourselves. Who am I?, where do I come from?, How did the world and the universe come into being?, what will happen to us when we die?. These questions of life, meaning and the purpose of life have forced people of knowledge and reason to think study and answer them. This resulted in different ideologies and theories. One of these theories is Atheism. Atheism or godless was originated in ancient Greek, Diagoras of Melos was the first person to be recorded as an atheist. He lived in the 5th century BC. Though it’s said scientists and philosophers are atheists, this does not mean every scientist or philosopher don’t believe in God (even though Peter Atkins call those believing scientists “half scientists”) Yet the early Atheists had very different thinking than the modern ideology of atheism which is based on Charles Darwin’s “origin of species “. The idea of denying God’s existence, and the claim of “everything can be explained by science” and of cause “the big bang” and “Evolution”, is now known as Atheism. Though the word atheism means godless this does not mean every atheist don’t believe in a god or a “supernatural force”, they are called weak atheism, if its strong atheism the belief in gods and supernatural entities are denied. Human mind can only judge the physical world
How is it possible to think that the balance in this world came into existence by chance, when the extraordinary harmony of nature is observable even with the naked eye? It is the most unreasonable claim to say that the universe, each point of which suggests the existence of its Creator, has come into being on its own.

How Can We Apply 14-Century Old Laws Today?

The Present Struggle.
The present struggle, more or less in all Muslim countries, is that the people are not prepared to go along with the rulers in the direction in which they are trying to take them; and the rulers are not prepared to lead the people in the direction in which they desire to move. This has resulted in a perpetual conflict in all the Muslim countries of the world. And this is 'Islam Today.'Saturday, October 17, 2009
Awakening...
Did you choose your own mother?
Was it you who fetched the midwife to attend to your delivery?
Were you then created from nothingness and without a creator?
Was man created by those things which were in existence before him, such as the mountains, the sun and the stars?
" We have not created the heavens and the earth and that between them except in truth, and certainly the Hour is approaching." ( surah al-Hijr, 15:85)
All things in creation have a beginning, and our beginning is an awakening… the realization that within oneself all is not well. This awakening may come early in life, or it may come quite late. And even, perhaps, there might be several beginnings after periods of stagnation. Yet, each beginning holds the highest potential, and this is a great mercy from Allah.
The lifetime is a short journey through one aspect of creation. Its length is not our concern, for Allah has determined it according to His own knowledge and will, making it entirely adequate for every soul to establish whatever will be a witness for it on the Day of Judgement.
A further mercy to mankind is that every new beginning nullifies all that preceded it, be it disbelief, sin, or mere failure to make the best use of one's time and resources. Prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him ) affirmed, " Islam destroys what was before it, and repentance destroys what was before it." What greater generosity could there be than that of Allah, who after mentioning the eternal humiliation and punishment of those who commit the gravest sins, adds:
" except for those who repent, believe and do good deeds. For them does Allah convert their evil deeds into good. And Allah is eternally forgiving and merciful." ( surah al-Furqan,25:70)
Allah also says,
"… those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins. And who can forgive sins except Allah?"( surah Ali Imran, 3:135)
" Say, 'O My servants who have committed excess against themselves, do not despair of Allah's mercy. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins, for it is He who is the Ever-Forgiving, Merciful. " ( surah az-Zumar, 39:53)
Know then, that however long or short a life span might be, its quality, by the grace of Allah, is determined from that point when one asserts his human faculties of thought and reason and awakens to the purpose of his creation, undertaking to fulfill his responsibilities on earth in obedience to his Creator. The length of this period is again determined by Allah in adequate measure, according to His perfect knowledge of every soul. From this beginning, true life emerges – life of a higher quality which only the believer can achieve…
" And is one who was dead [and] then We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people like one who remains in darkness, never to emerge therefrom ? ( surah al – Anam 6:122)
The initial awakening in which one chooses Islam over other ways of life is a transition from unawareness to comprehension, from denial to acceptance, from doubt to belief, or from shirk to Tawheed. But for the Muslim believer, there is also an awakening – one that leads him from sin to repentance, from various forms of hypocrisy to sincerity, from neglect to responsibility, or from self-satisfaction to higher aspiration. Often it comes gradually as an uneasy feeling – a discomfort of the soul. Then this uneasiness develops into apprehension and finally into the awareness that one is certainly not prepared for death, Facing an undeniable truth, the servant realizes that no excuse will suffice on the Day of Judgement. Through neglect and worldly distractions, he has placed his soul in danger. Frightened by the thought of punishment, he is at once moved to long and strive for that special mercy reserved for those who have earned the acceptance of their Creator in the greater life to come. But in his present state, would he be accepted? Those diseases of the heat so carefully concealed from his fellow men will certainly be uncovered on that Day… unless they are truly cured. A wise and prudent servant will therefore hasted to grasp the opportunity in his remaining days or hours – an extension granted to him out of mercy from Allah. For when these have expired, there will be no further respite or chance for amendment…
" Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has been revealed of the truth? And [let them] not be like those who were given the Scripture before – then a long period passed over them, and their hearts hardened. And many of them are transgressors. " ( surah al-Hadeed, 57:16)
