Of course it's natural that if Darwin looked into a mirror, he would see his real self like, because get your science right, if you look closely into a mirror yourself you will see that you are also a descendant of that species that was a cross between chimps and apes.
However much you would like to delude yourself, you can't change facts. There's no God. This is the result of natural laws that would exist with or without a God.
If you are delusional like all your religious friends, it will be better if you seek the help of a professional psychiatrist.
With all due respect, I humbly recommend you to sit down and do a literature review on the Theory of Evolution before you draw blind uninformed conclusions on the theory.
Have the geologists found fossil remains which they can prove to belong to the progenitors of the eagle, or of the horse, or of the donkey, or the whale--of any creature, in short from a mouse or a mole up to a man?
There are...absolutely no facts either in the records of geology, or in the history of the past, or in the experience of the present, that can be referred to as proving evolution, or the development of one species from another by selection of any kind whatever.
For example, while a certain monkey race has, by a series of insensible gradations, occurring during a period of enormous length, developed into man, other monkey races, during a yet longer period, have remained monkeys, making no progress whatever!
Darwin theory of apes is like bulls. no true evidence. nd so far no one has proved..so its nt a scientific fact. it is faaaaaaaaaaaaalse.

well how can there be laws if there is no tuner, no one to make the laws. ur calling natural law to which others call god, and the artist is actually trying to express his point of view and believe it also include the mirror therapy, if u understand mirror therapy u'd know what he is trying to say.
@lathee, i'm a person who did go through "the origin of species" well there are hell lot of problems in it. if its science or facts it should be proven beyond all reasonable doubts.
i agree Shiuny , and the artist Caricature right below this one under the name "Darwin searching for the missing link" the theory is just an imagination, thats what i think the artists trying to show.

You are referring to literature written 150 years ago, since then there has been thousands of studies done in this field and thousands of papers published. Which you ought to review, and in which you might find answers to the problems that you came across in the book that you read.
I presume the reason, why religious groups tend be hostile towards the theory of evolution is because they feel it somehow contradicts their religion or belittles God.
Let me draw a small analogy does understanding how the rain falls belittles the powers of God? Does understand Gravity, negates that God is the cause behind it? No, its scientifically impossible (at least for now) to know the causes of things, so from a scientific point of view, God creating different species by metaphysically is as miraculous as God creating them through habitual enforcement of physical laws.

evolutions not the idea of Darwin it was an idea brought up by pagan philosophers in Egypt, they believed all living things evolved from mud. these kind of ideas promote racism and violence by making humans look like animals just a complex evolution between humans and animals. Darwin's theory gave birth to Eugine which had a direct effect of Hitler, Darwin believed whites are more superior cause they have evolved and black are not fully evolved so if black are not stopped breeding evolution might turn back. this was the reason why blacks were treated like that. thats was a reason why

I applaud the simple analogies you have drawn there, and pointing out that science does not trespass the realm of God.
Word of advice though... save your breath. There simply is no reasoning with most folk who've already made up their mind that evolution is wrong (or just a theory), only a "limited amount of scientists" are on the bandwagon, and accepting it is heresy. What intrigues me is that most such individuals lack even a modicum of knowledge on the subject that they are so vehemently trying to defy.

@ lathee, thats the statistics from my world, where are u living? British daily The Guardian conducted a survey on Evolution, it emerged that only 25% of the Britons believed in Evolution. So goes the results throughout Europe.

Lets consider this (approximately):
- 33% of the worlds population believe that Jesus is God
- 21% of the worlds population believe that Allah is God
33% of the worlds population is almost 2.1 billion people (human beings like you) and 21% is almost 1.5 billion people.
Which of them is the true God? Jesus or Allah? Is the number of people who believe in each a criteria that you use to weigh to determine which one is the true God?

Alright I will get to the point: I simply pointed out, that the larger the number of people blindly believing in something doesn't necessarily have a bearing on its validity, a concept you seem to have lost when you put down those statistics.
Moreover you seem to have missed an important word Lathee used "legitimate scientists". For the record no legitimate scientists doubts that evolution occurs in nature.
well i think Rode Liddle's "Trouble with Atheism" this documentry might help u understand how many "legitimate scientists" believe in evolution. and if u go through the works of Harun Yahya, u don't have to be a scientist to understand that evolution is wrong.

the verse you quoted in context it does not refer to human evolution.the reason you brought pikthals translation is that he have used the word "transfigure". but the arabic word there is نُـنْشِئَكُمْ so i suggest before you go judging verses ur self how abt learning Arabic?.

Studying evolution doesn't translate the person as an atheist! Evolution occurs in nature and there is overwhelming scientific data to support it, and by denying it you are like those people who used to blindly say the world was flat

Its highly probable that HUMAN beings might have been placed on earth metaphysically.
If you read, Sahih Bukhari you would know that Adam was 30meters tall, is there any human beings 30 meters tall now? doesn't that imply we slowly evolved into shorter beings?
Do some phylogenetic analysis of all creatures that dwell this earth like real geneticists have been doing for the last few decades and then you would find that the missing link
evolution and adaptation is two different things. yes thats true in that point of view we have "changed" short or fat or thin. but we have the same overall shape and from Adam to us we are humans.

The Prophet said, "Allah created Adam in his complete shape and form (directly), sixty cubits (about 30 meters) in height. When He created him, He said (to him), "Go and greet that group of angels sitting there, and listen what they will say in reply to you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your offspring." Adam (went and) said, 'As-Salamu alaikum (Peace be upon you).' They replied, 'AsSalamu-'Alaika wa Rahmatullah (Peace and Allah's Mercy be on you) So they increased 'Wa Rahmatullah' The Prophet added 'So whoever will enter Paradise, will be of the shape and form of Adam. Since then the creation of Adam's (offspring) (i.e. stature of human beings is being diminished continuously) to the present time."
i dont have to imagine that its on sahih bukharee i try to live by quran and hadhiths so i believe its true.
the thing is u have not read the whole chapter if u did u'd see prophet mohammed (SAW) describing adam, moses and jesus on detail

@anon, no that hadith does not refer to that. but yes there are other hadiths proving that we humans would change our size in the end before entering heaven or hell
Since you claim to live by Holy Quran and Hadith, would you be kind enough to share with me if there is any mention of the means by which 3000cm tall human beings became short as 200cm in those sources?
not that i've known i've to check. but from the quran u'd see abt ad' and samoodh, allah refers to them as huge and also if u refer to the story of jews entering Jericho, you'd see who tall they were and how short jews were and thus we can say humans differ in size and quran proves it

Reason why I have to refer to translations. However, my entire life has been spent on studying living creatures and I can assure you that there are patterns that we can observe that shows that evolution occurs in nature.
Evolution is by means no excuse to deny the existence of God, it simply overwhelms me to observe these processes in nature placed here on Earth by God.

my friend there are similar animals but if you check the go through the fossil researches done so far they have found the two animals which some believe has evolved from there. there is an interview by one of those scientists on the documentary brought by Rode liddle (trouble with atheism ) he would explain how fossils prove animals did not evolve.

I am not a paleontologist. But I do specialize in geneticists I can safely tell you, that our own human genome is still evolving.
well u have the knowldge in ur field. all i know is humans and animals would adopt into there habitat for this some of there behaviors change so their bidy may change but the would not change into a new being nor would the monkeys or fishes be birds, for example those who dont have sushi might feel very sick after havign it cause their bodies have not known it before, but after sometime the body would adopt to the condition. hope you understood what i'm trying to say.
